A number of volunteers are traveling to Kenya next year to take part in the 2018 Rift Valley Marathon. The event scheduled for March 17th will support a number of Run for Life sponsored initiatives. We hope you can join us or pledge your support.

In addition to hosting Nate Brannen’s sub four attempt, Run for Life was thrilled to have 7 Olympians on hand for the 2013 Cambridge Classic Mile. Results from the Dickson Park Spring Celebration can be found here. The top 2 from each grade receive complimentary entry into the June 14th Classic Mile. Teachers should confirm these students by Wednesday of this week.
Host a marathon relay on your school property. Make your own 200m track as part of a math lesson and Run for Life offers great prize incentives to get the ball rolling. Active learning is fun and who doesn’t like an afternoon off to run in circles!
